Spotting drain blockages
Our team uses CCTV surveys to identify the cause of blockages, as this helps them decide which equipment would be most suitable for the task of removing them. If they see that the blockage is caused by a build-up of grease or cooking fat, for example, they will probably opt for high-pressure drain jetting. If they can see that there is a build-up of limescale or concrete residue, the team might choose our electro-mechanical drain clearance method.
Exploring the extent of damage
CCTV surveys are essential for assessing whether a drain needs to be repaired. The cameras can detect structural issues, collapses, leaks, breakages, root ingress and more. We might choose to conduct a drain survey if you have had a persistent problem with your drain – e.g. the toilet keeps blocking – as this indicates potential damage. Seeing CCTV footage means that our drainage team can quickly decide on the best course of action to repair the issue.
The WinCan drain survey system
We use the WinCan drain survey system, as we believe the camera and inspection reporting software is some of the best in the industry. This high-quality camera provides us with a clear image of the drain and enables us to identify the cause of a blockage or issue quickly.
Free CCTV inspection after completion
To put our customers’ minds at ease, we always offer a free CCTV drainage inspection once we have removed a blockage or repaired a drain. This involves one of our engineers looking at the cleaned pipework with you so that you can check the quality of our work.
